Winds & Bloodlines: Our People, Our Stories
Grand Prize awarded by the Texas State Genealogical Society (2023)
Kathryn Brogdon is an independent writer, researcher, and content creator based in the USA and is the author of Winds & Bloodlines.
This book is primarily concerned with the historic migrations of the Morse, Brogdon, and associated family lines of Central Europe, northern Italy, France, and the British Isles.
Drawing upon primary documents, letters, oral histories, secondary sources, and personal memorabilia, it attempts to collate their divergent narratives into a coherent record.
Although the work remains firstly a family history, its major themes have broader implications for the regional histories of New England, Southern colonial settlements, Mississippi, and Texas.
